Monique C. Baisden is a multifaceted Minister, Certified Coach, Consultant, Storyteller, and Advocate whose work intersects at the point of faith, healing, transformation, and empowerment. She is called to both ministry and the marketplace and is committed to equipping, empowering, and amplifying the “the least of these”.
Monique earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education (summa cum laude) from Clark Atlanta University and holds a Master of Arts degree in Communications and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. She is also a graduate of the ACTONE Hollywood Screenwriting Program for Christian screenwriters and a Certified Professional Coach, Certified Christian Coach, and Certified Life Coach through Lakeisha Dixon-Jones’ Breakthrough Coaching and Leadership Academy. In addition, she has previously taken screenwriting courses within Lipscomb University's Master of Arts in Entertainment, Design, & Creative Enterprise degree program.
The Minister
A daughter of an ordained Elder in the AME Zion Church and the granddaughter of an AME Pastor, Monique has been serving in ministry since age 4, when she first began singing in the Angelic Voices choir at Cascade United Methodist Church, where she continued to serve in choral ministry throughout her childhood. With nearly 30 years of continuous ministry service, Monique has held significant leadership positions including Youth Ministry Chair and Youth Ministry Co-Chair at Ben Hill United Methodist Church, and served on praise teams and sung in choirs across multiple congregations in the metro Atlanta area.
Monique answered her calling to formal ministry in 2016 after years of faithful volunteer service. In 2017, Monique founded "The Purpose-Driven God Chasers" Facebook community, creating a ministry space for Christian creatives and entrepreneurs. Through this community, she has led virtual prayer calls and virtual and in-person fellowships and gatherings.
Monique also ministers through media. You can find her previous inspirational messages on her blog and her YouTube channel. Additionally, she has previously written and self-published two books: "Single and Set Apart for a Season" and "Let Us Pray: A 12-Month Prayer Journal", and her inspirational articles have been featured in publications such as Bold Favor Magazine and TeamJesusMag.com.
The Coach & The Consultant
Known as "The Purpose Extractor", Monique has the gift of helping people to discern and identify their God-given purpose and calling.
As a Certified Professional, Life, and Christian Coach, she has supported and worked with recent college graduates, career changers, women over 40, women in transition, career changers, neurodivergent individuals, creatives, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and business owners throughout her 14 years of coaching. Primarily, she walks alongside clients navigating career changes and purpose and calling discovery, while integrating faith for those who are Christian believers.
As a Consultant, Monique provides outplacement career services to corporations navigating layoffs and workforce reductions.
The Storyteller
Monique C. Baisden’s storytelling journey began with music. Since her childhood, she has carried many creative gifts, but singing, songwriting, and creating music were her earliest passions.
In 2008, Monique stepped into professional songwriting, and by 2015 she formed The ProWriters, a songwriting and music production team. Her gift for words and melodies opened doors for her to sing and perform professionally with the Atlanta-based SEEiT Choir, appearing in major television, film, and live events including Harry Belafonte’s Many Rivers to Cross Concert, Jermaine Dupri’s The Rap Game, Tyler Perry’s "Madea’s Family Funeral" and "A Fall From Grace", FOX Television’s "STAR", and the CBS' Pre-Show for Super Bowl LIII.
In 2020, Monique founded 4 The Kingdom Entertainment (later renamed 4 The Kingdom Enterprises), where she served as Executive Producer, Songwriter, and Music Video Director. The company's defining project was the global human rights anthem “Enough Is Enough”, a song that Monique wrote, co-produced, and then transformed into an advocacy music video that received placements and recognition at the 2021 Voices Rising Film Festival, the 2021 Richmond International Film Festival, and the 2023 Indie Night Film Festival in Atlanta. The advocacy music video was also an Official Partner of Former First Lady Michelle Obama's 2020 "When We All Vote" campaign.
Building on that momentum, Monique adapted "Enough Is Enough" into a cinematic short story, which became a semifinalist in Screencraft’s 2024 Cinematic Short Story Competition. This was the beginning of her transition into screenwriting, filmmaking, and executive producing, expanding her storytelling far beyond music.
Today, through Harvest Field Productions, Monique continues to tell stories through photography, documentaries, and innovative, thought-provoking, and transformative short films that minister to and bring healing to people's hearts, minds, and souls. Additionally, she leverages her teaching background and develops curriculums and produces online courses for clients across multiple industries. She also produces AI-generated videos and Legacy Storytelling Services for seniors and their families.
The Advocate
Monique's 13-year caregiving journey for her elderly parents was the catalyst for her advocacy for family caregivers and the elderly. She has partnered with nonprofit organizations, including Nashville-based Mind What Matters and Atlanta-based Caregivers' Hope, to advocate for increased awareness and support for family caregivers and the elderly loved ones they serve. Her advocacy for family caregivers extends through her written work, as she has written a book for family caregivers that is forthcoming. Additionally, she has developed a pilot for a TV show comedy about family caregiving that chronicles somes of the stories from her 13-year family caregiving experience.
